Job Description:
The University of Mianwali (UMW) invites applications from eligible candidates for Visiting Faculty positions on a per lecture remuneration basis, as approved by the competent authority. Positions are available across the following disciplines:

Subjects Required:

  • Sciences and Technology: Biotechnology, Botany, Chemistry, Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Microbiology, Physics, Psychology, Software Engineering, Statistics and Data Science, Zoology
  • Humanities and Social Sciences: Arabic and Islamic Studies, Business Administration, Banking and Finance, Commerce, Economics, Education, English Language and Literature, International Relations (IR), Pakistan Studies, Political Science, Psychology, Urdu

Eligibility Criteria:

  • MS / M.Phil. / Ph.D. (as per HEC criteria)
  • Preference will be given to candidates with a Ph.D. in the relevant field

Walk-in Interview Schedule:

  • For Science and Technology Subjects: 19th August 2025
  • For Humanities and Social Sciences: 20th August 2025

Mandatory Instructions for Applicants:

  1. Walk-in interviews will be held as per the dates above.
  2. Candidates must bring a filled application form, original documents, CV, and attested copies of testimonials on the day of the interview.
  3. A non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 500/- must be deposited. The Fee Challan is downloadable from the UMW website (www.umw.edu.pk) under the “Careers” section.
  4. The fee can be deposited in any branch of the Bank of Punjab (BOP).
  5. Candidates currently serving in Government/Semi-Government departments must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of the interview.
  6. Incomplete applications or those missing required documents will not be considered.
  7. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
  8. The University reserves the right to cancel any advertised position or terminate the selection process at any stage without assigning any reason.
