Job Description

The Data Analyst will be responsible for a wide range of tasks related to data analysis, business intelligence, and performance monitoring. Key responsibilities include designing and managing data collection frameworks, including survey tools and industry datasets. The role requires proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience using statistical analysis, business intelligence, and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Google Data Studio. They will also be responsible for creating presentations, analytical reports, and policy briefs for decision-makers, utilizing visual storytelling and executive summaries. A strong understanding of Pakistan’s IT industry dynamics, skills landscape, and ICT export data structures is essential.

Eligibility Criteria and Requirements

Age: Maximum 45 years.

Qualification:

Minimum 16 years of education in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related discipline from a national or international university recognized by HEC.
Advanced certifications in data analytics, visualization, or statistical analysis will be considered a significant asset.
Well-versed in office productivity suits.

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or performance monitoring, preferably in the public sector, ICT industry, or development sector.
Strong working knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R for data transformation and automation.
Familiarity with data quality assurance, cleaning, validation, and integration from multiple sources.
