1. Academic Coordinator for Urdu-Islamiat, Gilgit-Baltistan

  • Job Description: The Academic Coordinator will be responsible for developing assessment items, maintaining high academic standards, and fostering a conducive learning environment in schools. This role involves providing support and guidance for classroom instruction and facilitating teachers’ professional development. The ideal candidate will be a professional educator with a strong command of the Urdu and Islamiat subjects and a commitment to improving teaching and learning processes.
  • Eligibility Criteria:
    • Qualification: Minimum 16 years of education with a specialization in Urdu subject, proficiency, and command of content knowledge. A professional degree such as M.Ed. or B.Ed. is preferred.
    • Experience: Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at a reputable institution.
    • Skills: Effective and strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and ICT integration with teaching/learning is desirable.

2. AKU-EB Curriculum Support Specialist for Pakistan Studies, Gilgit-Baltistan

  • Job Description: The Aga Khan Education Service, Pakistan has established a new unit to improve the quality of teaching and learning in all its AKU-EB affiliated schools in Gilgit-Baltistan. The Curriculum Support Specialist will be responsible for assisting the Senior Manager of the AKU-EB Support Unit in the implementation of AKU-EB school development plans. This role involves improving student and teacher performance and developing plans for the improvement of assessment and evaluation, aligning with AKES,P’s vision and long-term strategy.
  • Eligibility Criteria:
    • Qualification: Minimum 16 years of education with a specialization in Pakistan Studies subject, proficiency, and command of content knowledge. A professional degree such as M.Ed. or B.Ed. is preferred.
    • Experience: Minimum 3 years of teaching experience at a reputable institution.
    • Skills: Effective and strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and ICT integration with teaching/learning is desirable.
