Position Details

Job Title: Developer – Data Analytics & Business Intelligence (OG-II / OG-I)
Reporting To: Unit Head – Data Analytics & Business Intelligence
Location: Karachi
Employment Type: Contractual (3 years – renewable based on performance and requirements)

Qualifications

  • Minimum Graduation or equivalent in:
    • Computer Science
    • Software Engineering
    • Computer Engineering
    • IT or equivalent
  • Degree must be from an HEC-recognized local or foreign university.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with Master’s degrees in relevant fields.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in:
    • Application Software Development
    • Oracle Developer Tools
    • .NET / C#
    • Visual Studio Development
    • PL/SQL Programming
    • BI tools like Power BI, QlikView, or Tableau

Other Skills & Knowledge

  • Good understanding of front-end technologies and software design
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle deadlines and work in high-pressure environments
  • Team player with willingness to learn and grow professionally

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop enterprise-level applications and modules using software best practices
  • Participate in full software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Optimize and maintain BI application components
  • Analyze user needs and translate them into efficient code
  • Develop reports and dashboards to improve decision-making
  • Ensure system integration and documentation
