Job Description

Pakistan Navy is inviting applications from retired Naval Officers (Ops Branch Lt Cdr/Lt) for the position of Seamanship Instructor (BPS-17) at PNS Himalaya. This is a contractual appointment aimed at enhancing the training capabilities of the Navy’s seamanship division. The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering theoretical and practical instruction in seamanship to naval trainees.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct classroom and practical training sessions in seamanship
Develop and update training materials and manuals
Evaluate trainee performance and maintain training records
Ensure adherence to naval standards and safety protocols
Support the professional development of junior naval personnel

Requirements

Retired Naval Officer from Ops Branch (Lt Cdr or Lt rank)
Minimum 02 years of seamanship experience
Bachelor’s degree from an HEC-recognized university
Strong instructional and communication skills
Familiarity with naval training procedures and protocols

Eligibility Criteria

Only retired officers from the specified branch and rank are eligible
Must possess relevant experience and academic qualifications
Candidates must submit complete documentation including CV, attested copies of CNIC, academic certificates, and service record
