Role Description

The Chairperson will lead the Commission in fulfilling its mandate under the NCSW Act, 2012, which includes:

  • Reviewing laws, policies, and programs affecting women
  • Advising the government on gender-related reforms
  • Promoting awareness and advocacy for women’s rights
  • Monitoring violations and recommending corrective actions
  • Coordinating with civil society, media, and international partners

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be a woman citizen of Pakistan
  • Minimum 15 years of experience working on women’s rights, gender equality, or social justice
  • Proven commitment to the cause of women’s empowerment
  • Strong leadership, advocacy, and policy engagement skills
