Available Positions:

  1. Controller of Examination (BPS-20)
    • Number of Posts: 1
    • Eligibility: First division degree (16 years education) from HEC recognized University/DAI’s with 17 years’ relevant experience in pay scale 17 or its equivalent or above.
  2. Treasurer (BPS-20)
    • Number of Posts: 1
    • Eligibility: First division degree (16 years education) in Business Administration (with Specialization in Finance) or Commerce from HEC recognized University/DAI’s or Member PIPFA (FPA) with 17 years’ experience in financial management/accounts in a University or a Government Department or an Autonomous Organization in pay scale 17 or its equivalent or above.
  3. Director Works (BPS-20)
    • Number of Posts: 1
    • Eligibility:
      • First class BE (16 years education) in Civil Engineering from HEC recognized University and Pakistan Engineering Council with 17 years’ relevant experience in a University or a Government Department or an Autonomous Organization in pay scale 17 or its equivalent and above
      • OR
      • Second class BE (16 years education) in Civil Engineering from HEC recognized University and Pakistan Engineering Council with 20 years’ relevant experience in a University or a Government Department or an Autonomous Organization in pay scale 17 or its equivalent and above.
      • No third division in entire academic career.

Terms & Conditions:

  • Application forms can be downloaded from www.aust.edu.pk/jobs-careers/ or obtained from the Registrar Office of Abbottabad University of Science & Technology.
  • Only prescribed application forms will be accepted.
  • Fresh appointments will be made under the CP Fund policy of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (no pension basis). Pension eligibility only for those working already on BPS against pensionable jobs.
  • Degree obtained under the Semester System with CGPA of 3.00 out of 4.0 or Annual System with 60% marks will be considered a “first-class degree.”
  • Application processing fee (@ Rs. 5000/-) to be deposited in favor of Treasurer Abbottabad University of Science & Technology. No application without fee will be entertained.
  • Submit original Bank Draft Receipt, 3 attested passport size photographs, attested copies of academic documents, domicile, CNIC, experience certificates, distinctions, etc.
  • Only legally valid and verified experience letters with job title, description, scale, dates, and durations will be accepted.
  • Legal action will be taken against fake or forged documents.
  • Candidates serving in Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous Organizations must provide NOC.
  • Foreign degrees/certificates require equivalency certificates from HEC/IBCC or relevant authority.
  • Provide valid email, postal address, and contact numbers (WhatsApp) for correspondence.
  • Government quotas will be observed.
  • The university reserves the right not to fill any position or reject any application.
  • Appointment governed by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Universities Act-2012 and statutes of Abbottabad University of Science & Technology.
  • Other terms and conditions as per university statutes.
