Job Description:

As a member of the GCUF faculty, you will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, supervising student research, and engaging in personal and collaborative research that contributes to your field of expertise. Specific duties include curriculum development, student mentoring, and participation in academic and administrative committees. For higher-level positions (Professor, Associate Professor), a proven track record of significant research, publications, and leadership is essential. Candidates for the Data Science roles (Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor) should possess a strong background and experience in Data Analytics, Computational Intelligence, and Machine Learning. Similarly, candidates for Pharmacy and Engineering positions must hold valid registration certificates from their respective councils.

Eligibility Criteria & Requirements:

Educational Qualification: All candidates must possess a minimum of 16 years of education from a recognized national or international university.
Experience: Specific teaching and research experience requirements vary by position and are outlined in detail on the university’s official website.
Age Limit: The age limit for applicants is between 21 and 35 years.
Registration: Candidates applying for positions in Pharmacy and Engineering must provide valid registration certificates from the Pakistan Pharmacy Council and Pakistan Engineering Council, respectively.
Academic Record: The ad requires a specific academic performance which will be a key criterion during the shortlisting process.

How to Apply:

Interested and eligible candidates can download the prescribed application form from the official Government College University, Faisalabad website. A non-refundable bank challan/draft, as specified on the application form for each position, must be attached with the application. The completed application, along with an updated Biodata Form, attested copies of all academic testimonials, experience certificates, a copy of CNIC, and a recent photograph, must be submitted to the Registrar’s Office.

In addition to the hard copy submission, a soft copy of the complete application and all documents must be provided on a USB flash drive. In-service candidates are required to apply through the proper channel and submit a “No Objection Certificate” (NOC) from their parent department. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.

The appointment will be made on a regular basis, subject to the relevant rules and regulations of Government College University, Faisalabad. Employees will be governed by the Contributory Provident Fund (CPF) and other applicable rules.
