Applications are invited against UNWFP share for the following PC-I based positions on Basic Pay Scale in the project titled:
“PARTICIPATORY CLIMATE CHANGE ADAPTATION INTERVENTIONS TO ENSURE RESILIENT COMMUNITIES IN AJK”
Positions are for an initial period of 01 year (extendable on performance evaluation basis) to implement the project at AJK level.

Available Positions:

  1. Monitoring and Reporting Officer (BPS-17)
    • No. of Posts: 01
    • Qualification & Experience:
      • Masters in Environmental Science (18-year education) from a HEC-recognized institution
      • At least 3 years of work experience in any project funded by UN Donors/sponsors
      • Knowledge of donor tools and proposal writing desirable
      • Fluency in English and Urdu
    • Age Limit: 21 to 35 years
  2. Assistant Engineer (BPS-17)
    • No. of Posts: 01
    • Qualification & Experience:
      • Graduate (16-year education) in Civil Engineering from HEC-recognized university
      • At least 2 years of relevant project experience
      • Knowledge of computer-aided designing and construction software
      • Good communication skills
    • Age Limit: 21 to 35 years
  3. Livelihood Officer (BPS-16)
    • No. of Posts: 01
    • Qualification & Experience:
      • Masters (16-year education) in Social Sciences or Administration
      • At least 2 years of work experience in donor-funded projects
    • Age Limit: 21 to 35 years
  4. Community Development Officer (Female) (BPS-16)
    • No. of Posts: 01
    • Qualification & Experience:
      • Masters (16-year education) in any discipline from a HEC-recognized institution
      • Minimum 3 years of experience in UN donor/sponsor-funded projects
    • Age Limit: 21 to 35 years
  5. Programme Officer (BPS-16)
    • No. of Posts: 01
    • Qualification & Experience:
      • Masters (16-year education) in IT/Computer Science/Project Management
      • At least 5 years proven experience of database management in donor-funded projects
    • Age Limit: 21 to 35 years

General Terms and Conditions:

  1. All posts are contract-based (UNWFP share), extendable on performance.
  2. Station of posting: Muzaffarabad.
  3. Posts are non-transferable.
  4. Pay will be from WFP share only.
  5. A general age relaxation of 5 years is admissible as per AJK Govt. rules.
  6. Competent authority reserves the right to reject applications without assigning any reason.
