Job Description

The Young Professional–II will assist in project activities related to genetics, plant breeding, plant biotechnology, botany, plant pathology, plant biochemistry, and other related horticultural sciences. Candidates with experience in DUS (Distinctness, Uniformity, and Stability) testing will be preferred.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in Genetics & Plant Breeding, Horticulture, Plant Biotechnology, Botany, Plant Pathology, Plant Biochemistry, or related fields.
  • Desirable Qualification: Experience in DUS testing.
  • Age Limit: 21–45 years (Relaxation as per Government of India rules).

  • Temporary contractual engagement — not a regular ICAR position.
  • No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
