Role Description
The Chairperson will lead the Commission in fulfilling its mandate under the NCSW Act, 2012, which includes:
- Reviewing laws, policies, and programs affecting women
- Advising the government on gender-related reforms
- Promoting awareness and advocacy for women’s rights
- Monitoring violations and recommending corrective actions
- Coordinating with civil society, media, and international partners
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a woman citizen of Pakistan
- Minimum 15 years of experience working on women’s rights, gender equality, or social justice
- Proven commitment to the cause of women’s empowerment
- Strong leadership, advocacy, and policy engagement skills
