Job Opportunities at Azad Jammu & Kashmir Information Technology Board – Walk-in Interviews

The Azad Jammu & Kashmir Information Technology Board (AJ&K IT Board) has announced multiple job opportunities under two major projects: “Computerization of Land Record in AJ&K Phase-II” and “Extension for Lower Judiciary Automation in AJ&K”. Walk-in interviews will be conducted for the below-mentioned posts on September 2, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 02:00 PM at the IT Board Office, Block-C, New District Headquarters Complex, Muzaffarabad.

This is an excellent opportunity for qualified and experienced individuals to join various technology-driven government initiatives on a contract basis. The appointments will be made strictly on merit.

Available Positions:

Under “Computerization and Record in AJ&K Phase-II”:

  1. System Engineers (BPS-17)
    • Locations: Digital Service Centers Khuiatta & Bhimber
    • Number of Positions: 2
    • Age Limit: Maximum 40 years
    • Qualification: BS in CS/SE/CE or MCS from a recognized institution
    • Experience: Minimum 3 years in managing and monitoring large IT projects. Must have knowledge of networking technologies, development tools, middleware, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Web/Application Database and servers.
  2. Service Center Official (BPS-14)
    • Location: Digital Service Center Rawalakot
    • Number of Positions: 1
    • Age Limit: Maximum 40 years
    • Qualification: Graduation with a 1-year IT diploma
    • Experience: Minimum 1 year in data entry at a government, local, or foreign organization
    • Typing Speed: Minimum 25 words per minute
  3. Guards for Service Centers (BPS-01)
    • Location: Digital Service Centers Mirpur
    • Number of Positions: 1
    • Age Limit: Maximum 40 years
    • Qualification: Middle Level Education
    • Experience: Minimum 3 years of work experience

Under “Extension for Lower Judiciary Automation in AJ&K”:

  1. Technical Assistant (BPS-16)
    • Number of Positions: 13
    • Age Limit: Maximum 40 years
    • Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in IT
    • Experience: Hardware and software setup, large-scale data entry, strong communication skills
    • Eligibility: Candidates from all AJK districts may apply and will be posted in various tehsils
