Balochistan Energy Company Limited (BECL) is a public sector company owned by the Government of Balochistan, incorporated under Section 32 of the Companies Ordinance 1984. BECL is looking for suitable candidates for the following positions:

Available Positions

1. Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

  • Number of Posts: 1
  • Qualification: Preferably HEC recognized CA/ACCA/MBA/M.Com Finance
  • Experience:
    • 07 years of post-qualification relevant experience at middle level and at least 05 years at the senior level of Finance professionals working in the Energy sector, especially in the Oil/Gas upstream sector, and Renewable Energy.
    • Age must be between 37 to 47 years.
  • Main Responsibilities:
    • Lead the financial strategy, planning, budgeting, and reporting functions of the company.
    • Ensure compliance with corporate governance, regulatory, and tax requirements.
    • Oversee financial risk management and develop internal control systems.
    • Liaise with auditors, regulatory authorities, and stakeholders.
    • Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and Board on financial performance and capital structuring.
    • Supervise treasury operations, cost control, investment planning, and procurement activities.
    • Participate in FCMO/CMOs with Oil & Gas E&P Companies operating in Balochistan.
    • Good communication skills and a tendency to work in a team.

2. Company Secretary (BSc/LLB)

  • Number of Posts: 1
  • Qualification: HEC recognized MBA degree with ICT diploma/certification from a recognized institute
  • Experience:
    • At least 5-7 years of post-qualification relevant experience at middle level or senior management.
    • Age must be between 35 to 45 years.
  • Main Responsibilities:
    • Demonstrated data management skills including understanding the use of Microsoft Word and software architecture.
    • Maintain and update statutory registers, records, SECP filings, and stock exchanges as applicable laws.
    • Manage disclosures and reports and declarations as required for a listed entity.
    • Assist in the preparation of technical reports, presentations, and summaries related to energy projects using ICT software.
    • Manage digital communication platforms and video conferencing.
    • Share (rental) and ensure timely dissemination of information within the department.
    • Ensure effective communication and flow of information between the Board and senior management.
    • Good communication skills and a tendency to work in a team.
