The Government of Punjab’s Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department is seeking highly qualified and experienced individuals for key positions at the Fatima Jinnah Institute of Dental Sciences, Lahore. These contract-based roles are part of a development project and offer an excellent opportunity to contribute to the public health sector. Available Positions and Descriptions

We are currently accepting applications for the following roles:

Bio-Medical Engineer (BPS-17): This role involves the application of engineering principles and design concepts to medicine and biology for healthcare purposes. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and ensuring the efficient operation of medical equipment within the institution. This includes diagnostic and therapeutic devices, surgical instruments, and other specialized health technologies. You’ll play a crucial role in supporting clinical staff and ensuring patient safety through the proper functioning of all medical systems.
Computer Operator (BPS-15): The Computer Operator will be responsible for managing and maintaining the institute’s computer systems and networks. This includes data entry, system troubleshooting, and ensuring the security and integrity of patient and administrative data. You will provide technical support to staff and assist with the implementation of new software and hardware systems to improve efficiency and workflow. A strong understanding of various operating systems and office applications is essential.
Store Keeper (BPS-7): The Store Keeper will oversee the management of inventory and supplies. This includes receiving, stocking, and distributing medical, dental, and administrative materials. The role requires meticulous record-keeping, ensuring the availability of necessary supplies, and managing stock levels to prevent shortages. You will be responsible for maintaining an organized and accurate inventory system.

Eligibility and Requirements

For Bio-Medical Engineer (BPS-17):
- Qualification: B.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering, Biomedical, or B.S.c. (Electronics or Electrical Engineering) from an HEC-recognized university.
- Experience: A minimum of two years of relevant professional experience in the field of medical equipment.
- Age Limit: 18-25 years.
For Computer Operator (BPS-15):
- Qualification: I.S. (Intermediate of Science) or an equivalent qualification recognized by an HEC-accredited institution.
- Experience: Two years of experience in the field of computer operation.
- Age Limit: 18-25 years.
For Store Keeper (BPS-7):
- Qualification: Intermediate education or equivalent.
- Experience: At least three years of experience in managing stores, inventory, or a similar role.
- Age Limit: 18-25 years.

General Terms & Conditions

These positions are for a development project and will be on a contract basis.
Age relaxation is available as per Government policy.
Candidates already working in government or semi-government institutions must apply through the proper channel, with a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their current department.
Incomplete applications or those received after the deadline will not be considered.
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for a test and interview. The date and time will be communicated separately.
No TA/DA will be admissible for the test or interview.
The final decision on all matters related to recruitment rests with the competent authority and cannot be challenged in court.
