Job Description

The Competition Commission of Pakistan (CCP), a key regulatory authority promoting fair competition and consumer welfare, is inviting applications for the position of Senior Investigator / Enforcement Officer. This role is central to CCP’s enforcement operations, requiring professionals with strong legal and analytical acumen to investigate anti-competitive practices, draft legal documents, and support litigation efforts.

The selected candidates will be responsible for conducting market inquiries, preparing investigation reports, and assisting in legal proceedings related to competition law violations. This is a high-impact opportunity for individuals passionate about regulatory enforcement and economic justice.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct investigations into anti-competitive behavior
Draft legal notices, reports, and enforcement documents
Assist in litigation and legal proceedings

Eligibility Criteria

Maximum Age: 45 years
Education:
- Minimum LLB or Master’s in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Public Policy, or equivalent (HEC recognized)
- Preference for LLM, Bar-at-Law, or PhD in relevant field
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years in a regulatory authority, law firm, or relevant public/private sector organization
Nationality: Pakistani citizens only

Requirements

In-depth knowledge of competition law and enforcement mechanisms
Strong legal drafting and litigation skills
Proficiency in MS Office and legal research tools
Excellent analytical and communication abilities
Ability to work independently and in teams
