Overview

The University of Jhang is inviting applications from qualified professionals for statutory positions on a contract basis of 3 years (non-extendable). Only candidates having domicile of Punjab are eligible to apply. The appointments will be made in accordance with HEC criteria and relevant experience requirements.

Available Positions

1. Registrar (BS-20)

  • No. of Posts: 01
  • Age Limit: 40–50 years
  • Minimum Qualification:
    • Ph.D. or equivalent, with 8 years post-qualification teaching or administrative/professional experience
    • OR MS/M.Phil. or equivalent, with 10 years of relevant experience
    • OR Master’s (16 years education), with 12 years of relevant experience

2. Treasurer (BS-20)

  • No. of Posts: 01
  • Age Limit: 40–50 years
  • Minimum Qualification:
    • Ph.D. in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, or Auditing with 8 years of relevant experience
    • OR MS/M.Phil. with 10 years of relevant experience
    • OR MBA (Finance), M.Com, ACA, ACMA with 12 years of relevant experience

3. Controller of Examinations (BS-20)

  • No. of Posts: 01
  • Age Limit: 40–50 years
  • Minimum Qualification:
    • Ph.D. with 8 years of relevant experience
    • OR MS/M.Phil. with 10 years of relevant experience
    • OR Master’s (16 years education) with 12 years of relevant experience

General Conditions

  • The contract will not be extended beyond the initial 3 years.
  • Applications must be submitted online at https://uoj.edu.pk and also in hard copy along with three sets of documents, CNIC, domicile, attested testimonials, and two passport-size photographs.
  • Government/Semi-Government employees must apply through proper channels with a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview; no TA/DA will be admissible.
  • Experience in private institutions will be considered only if they are registered with SECP, Registrar of Firms, or any regulatory authority.
  • Foreign degree holders must attach HEC equivalency certificate.
