About the Role:

National Bank of Pakistan (NBP), one of the country’s largest financial institutions, is seeking experienced and qualified professionals for the role of Branch Manager (OG-I) in its Alternate Islamic Banking segment. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about Islamic banking and capable of driving branch performance through leadership, customer engagement, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage branch operations with strong focus on deposit mobilization and cross-selling of Islamic banking products
Promote Islamic banking through marketing efforts, including coordination with E-Banking and Non-Teller Banking customers
Meet sales targets and KPIs through effective customer service and financial solutions
Ensure the accuracy of branch reporting and audits; maintain complete and up-to-date documentation
Prevent fraud by maintaining secure records and adhering to SBP and internal policies
Manage the branch team’s performance, training, and development
Maintain a strong control environment and ensure timely completion of all operational processes
Provide an excellent customer experience and handle escalated customer complaints professionally

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

Graduation from a recognized university (HEC recognized)
Preference for candidates with Commerce / Islamic Banking certification or diploma

Experience:

Minimum 02 years of experience in branch banking
At least 02 years of experience as Branch Manager preferred (Islamic banking background will be an added advantage)

Skills & Knowledge:

Strong leadership and communication skills
Sound knowledge of banking regulations, especially AML / CFT / SBP Prudential Regulations
Analytical mindset and decision-making ability
Strong customer service orientation

Employment Type:

Contractual (renewable based on performance and management discretion)
