Job Description

The selected Director General will be responsible for overall management, strategic planning, and supervision of the Information Service Academy. The role involves designing training modules for media professionals, implementing government communication strategies, and ensuring capacity building of officials. The DG will also oversee research, policy execution, and the integration of modern communication tools to enhance government-public engagement.

Eligibility Criteria & Requirements

  • Educational Qualification: Minimum Master’s degree (16 years of education) in Mass Communication, Journalism, Public Administration, Political Science, or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
  • Experience: At least 20 years of professional experience in government service, public administration, media management, or a related field.
  • Age Limit: Maximum age is 62 years at the time of application.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, analytical ability, training expertise, and communication skills.

Contract Duration

  • The appointment will be made for an initial period of three (03) years, extendable based on performance and requirements.
