Overview:

Pakistan Railways is seeking a reliable and dedicated individual for the position of Naib Qasid under its high-priority development project focused on enhancing rail connectivity with Afghanistan. This position is ideal for individuals looking to serve in a government project at the entry-level with long-term potential.

As part of the support staff, the Naib Qasid will be responsible for various day-to-day office duties that ensure the smooth functioning of project operations. The selected candidate will report to senior officers and assist with clerical and logistical support tasks.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Educational Qualification:
    • Minimum Primary Pass or equivalent.
    • Candidates with Middle or Matric qualifications will be preferred.
  • Experience Requirements:
    • At least 2 years of relevant experience as a Naib Qasid, Office Boy, or peon in a government, semi-government, or private office environment.
  • Skills & Attributes:
    • Physically fit and active.
    • Trustworthy, punctual, and disciplined.
    • Ability to follow office protocols and assist staff with routine tasks.
  • Age Limit:
    • Maximum age: 30 years (inclusive of general age relaxation)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve tea, water, and refreshments during meetings and working hours.
  • Handle physical movement of files/documents within and outside the department.
  • Assist in office cleanliness and arrangement of official spaces.
  • Support staff in photocopying, mail delivery, and minor office errands.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by the administration or project manager.
