Job Description
The Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PM&DC), the premier regulatory authority for medical and dental education in Pakistan, invites applications from qualified professionals for the position of Registrar (SPS-12). This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing regulatory operations, academic coordination, and administrative governance within the Council. The Registrar will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with national standards, managing institutional records, and facilitating communication between stakeholders in the health education sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the administrative functions of PM&DC
- Ensure regulatory compliance across affiliated institutions
- Supervise record-keeping, licensing, and accreditation processes
- Liaise with government bodies, universities, and healthcare institutions
- Support Council decisions and implement policy directives
- Oversee internal audits and reporting mechanisms
Eligibility Criteria
- Maximum Age: Upto 57years
- Educational Qualification: MBBS or BDS, plus MPH / MHPE / Master in Health Professional Education / Master in Public Health / Master in Medical Administration (recognized by PM&DC)
- Experience: Minimum 10 years in the health sector, including at least 5 years in an administrative capacity
- Must be a citizen of Pakistan
Requirements
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and public sector governance
- Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and complex workflows
- Must submit:

- Attested copies of CNIC, educational and experience certificates, domicile
