Job Overview:
The Competition Commission of Pakistan (CCP) is seeking a qualified IT professional with proven experience in network systems infrastructure, cyber security, and enterprise-grade IT operations for the position of Deputy Director – Network Operations and Cyber Security.
Educational Qualification:
- Master’s Degree or a Four-Year Bachelor’s in Computer Science / IT / Software Engineering / Networking
from an HEC-recognized local or foreign university.
Professional Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in:
- Managing enterprise network/systems infrastructure
- Cyber security
- Network design, monitoring, troubleshooting, and coordination
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee design, implementation, and maintenance of secure networks (LAN, WAN, VPN, wireless)
- Monitor and ensure optimal network performance and uptime
- Configure network devices such as switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers
- Perform server and domain administration tasks
- Apply system health checks, patch management, and log reviews
- Implement network security policies including firewalls and access control lists
- Coordinate with ISPs and vendors
- Plan for network upgrades and redundancy
- Analyze root causes of outages
- Lead cyber security initiatives and disaster recovery efforts
- Provide audit and compliance support

CCP is hiring a qualified database professional to manage its database systems, data security, and enterprise architecture. The Assistant Director – Database Systems will lead the design and optimization of scalable and secure data infrastructure.
Educational Qualification:
- Master’s Degree or Four-Year Bachelor’s in Computer Science / IT / Software Engineering (with a specialization in Database Management) from an HEC-recognized local or foreign university.
Professional Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in:
- Database systems management
- Database architecture design and administration
- Data integrity and security
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain robust, scalable database architectures
- Manage relational and non-relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.)
- Monitor database performance and availability
