Position Overview:
NBP is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and qualified professional to join its Audit & Inspection Group as Divisional Head – Technology Audits. The successful candidate will lead the Information Technology audit function and ensure effective oversight of IT-related risks and controls.

Reporting To:
Chief Internal Auditor

Educational / Professional Qualification:

Minimum Graduation from a local or international university/college recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC)
Certifications such as CISA, CRISC, Information Security, Cyber Security, CISM, CEH, CIQT, CCSP, CCISO, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, Cloud Security, Data Privacy, or other relevant IT/IS certifications are preferred

Experience Requirements:

Minimum 15 years of experience in Information Technology Audits, Information Security, IT, Enterprise Risk Management of Financial Institutions and/or FinTech
Experience in leading IT audits, managing third-party IT risk, data analytics, and automation/AI tools will be preferred

Required Skills and Knowledge:

Strong leadership and emotional intelligence
Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
In-depth understanding of regulatory and industry standards across IT domains including Cybersecurity, Data Privacy, Cloud, AI, Blockchain
Familiarity with SBP regulations, digital transformation practices, and IT control frameworks
Experience with audit methodologies, sampling, and automation tools
Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
Proficiency in managing audit teams and reporting to senior leadership

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct IT risk assessments and develop audit plans
Lead and manage IT audit projects and teams
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, regulators, and consultants
Supervise finalization and release of IT audit reports
Analyze and validate security control implementations
Prepare audit reports and summaries for senior management
Monitor IS Audit findings and provide recommendations for improvement
Manage audit software and related tools
Perform any additional duties as assigned

Employment Type:
Contractual basis for three (3) years, renewable at the discretion of management. Selected candidates will receive competitive compensation and benefits as per the Bank’s policies and rules.
