Available Vacancies

1. Research Associate (BPS-17)

  • Position (1): We are seeking a Research Associate with a strong background in International Relations (IR), Political Science (Pol. Sc.), Defence & Strategic Studies (DSS), Peace & Conflict Studies, Defence & Diplomatic Studies, or a comparable discipline. The ideal candidate will have a particular focus on the India/South Asia region.
  • Position (2): We are also looking for a Research Associate with a similar academic background but with a particular focus on Arms Control and Disarmament. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research and publishing scholarly work on this critical topic.

2. Naib Qasid (NQ) (BPS-3)

  • We are looking for a reliable and diligent individual to fill the position of Naib Qasid. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative and support services within the institute.

Eligibility Criteria and Requirements

Research Associate (BPS-17)

  • Qualification: Masters or equivalent 16 years of education in the relevant discipline (as specified above) from a recognized university.
  • Age: Not over 35 years, including five years of general age relaxation.
  • Experience/Publications: Minimum of two years of research experience at a reputable university or institution and two research publications in HEC-recognized journals.

Naib Qasid (BPS-3)

  • Qualification: SSC (Matric) or Middle Pass with relevant experience.
  • Age: Not over 30 years, including five years of general age relaxation.
  • Medical Fitness: Must be medically fit.
