Job Overview:
National Bank of Pakistan, the Nation’s Bank, is seeking a qualified and experienced professional for the role of Policy Manager (AVP / VP) in its Risk Management Group. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development, execution, and monitoring of credit policies and processes aligned with regulatory and organizational objectives.
Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
- Graduation or equivalent from an HEC-recognized institution (local/international)
- Master’s degree or relevant certifications (preferred)
Experience:
- Minimum 06 years of banking experience, with at least 04 years in credit policy, risk management, consumer/SME/SBP schemes, or secured lending
Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of credit risk and policy management
- Knowledge of Consumer/Retail policies, SBP schemes
- Excellent decision-making and analytical skills
- Sound communication and proficiency in MS Office
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain credit policies ensuring alignment with regulatory changes
- Support credit risk review and product development
- Analyze portfolio performance and risk exposure
- Review secured lending portfolios and initiate quality improvements
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders for credit process enhancements
- Ensure compliance and data integrity in all risk-related tasks
