The Division of Animal Biotechnology at FVSC & AH, Shuhama, is inviting applications for the position of Project Associate-II under a prestigious DBT-funded research initiative.

Job Description

The Project Associate-II will contribute to cutting-edge research in animal biotechnology, focusing on climate-resilient agriculture. Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting laboratory experiments and data analysis
  • Assisting in molecular biology and biotechnology research
  • Preparing technical reports and documentation
  • Collaborating with project investigators and team members
  • Supporting field trials and sample collection as needed

Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualifications:

  • M.Sc. in Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Microbiology
  • M.V.Sc. in Biotechnology

Desirable Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in Research and Development in academic or industrial settings
  • Preference will be given to candidates who have qualified NET/GATE

Requirements

  • Strong research aptitude and analytical skills
  • Familiarity with molecular techniques and lab protocols
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Good communication and documentation skills
