The Government of Balochistan, Planning and Development Department, invites applications from dynamic and results-oriented individuals for the position of Project Director. This role is crucial for the effective execution of foreign-assisted development projects within the province.

Job Descriptions & Vacancies:

The Planning and Development Department is seeking to fill three Project Director positions for the following projects:

Development Projects in District Gwadar under Gwadar Oman Baluchistan:
- Number of Vacancies: 1
- Pay Scale: PPS-09
- Description: This role involves leading and managing development initiatives in the Gwadar district, ensuring they align with project goals and foreign assistance guidelines.
Balochistan Livelihood & Entrepreneurship Project (BLEP):
- Number of Vacancies: 1
- Pay Scale: PPS-09
- Description: The Project Director for BLEP will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of a project aimed at improving livelihoods and fostering entrepreneurship across Balochistan.
Housing Reconstruction Awaran (HRA) Project Balochistan:
- Number of Vacancies: 1
- Pay Scale: PPS-09
- Description: This position requires a professional to lead the housing reconstruction efforts in the Awaran district, focusing on effective and efficient project delivery.

Eligibility and Requirements:

All applicants must meet the following general criteria:

Age Limit: Minimum 40 years and Maximum 62 years.
Local/Domicile: Balochistan.
Strong Communication Skills: Essential for all roles to liaise with various stakeholders, including government organizations, donors, and private sectors.

Specific Qualifications & Experience for Each Position:

Project Director (Development Projects in District Gwadar):
- Qualifications: BE/BS (Hons) Civil Engineering (PEC registered), Project Construction Management, and Design.
- Experience: At least 10 years of relevant experience at a management level, with a proven track record of implementing foreign-funded programs/projects.
Project Director (Balochistan Livelihood & Entrepreneurship Project – BLEP):
- Qualifications: Master’s degree in Agriculture, Economics, Public Administration, Business Studies, or a Master’s in Project Management.
- Experience: At least 10 years of experience at a management level with reasonable experience in implementing foreign-funded programs/projects. Demonstrated ability to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders is a must.
Project Director (Housing Reconstruction Awaran – HRA):
- Qualifications: BE/BS (Hons) Civil Engineering (PEC registered), Project Construction Management, and Design.
- Experience: At least 10 years of experience at a management level with reasonable experience in implementing foreign-funded programs/projects.
