Job Description:
The Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC) is seeking applications from dynamic and eminent Agriculture Scientists / Research Managers for the posts of Whole Time Members in the fields of Natural Resources and Social Sciences. The ideal candidates must possess demonstrated leadership in strategic planning, agricultural research management, and the ability to coordinate national research programs. The roles involve policy formulation, team leadership, and management of R&D projects under PARC.

Eligibility Criteria:

Academic Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in the relevant field (Natural Resources or Social Sciences) from an HEC-recognized university of international repute.

Experience:

  • At least 22 years of experience in R&D organizations, higher learning institutions, or the private sector.
  • 15 years of post-Ph.D. experience in teaching/research.
  • Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Minimum of 15 research publications in HEC-recognized refereed journals/books.

Skills Required:

  • Strategic planning and leadership
  • Financial and human resource management
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Additional Requirements:

  • Candidates must have first division or CGPA 3.0+ in their highest qualification.
  • Maximum age: 62 years
  • Only Pakistani nationals may apply.
  • Government servants must resign or seek retirement before appointment.
