Job Title: Various Positions (Faculty and Staff)

The University of Engineering & Applied Sciences (UEAS), Swat, is seeking highly qualified and motivated individuals to fill various faculty and staff positions on a contract basis. We have openings for a range of positions, from Associate Professor to Lab Attendant, across various departments including Cyber-Security, Data Science, Software Engineering, and Computer Science. The successful candidates will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our students and the university.

Job Descriptions & Key Responsibilities

  • Associate Professor & Assistant Professor: These senior academic roles involve teaching at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, conducting research, supervising students, and contributing to curriculum development.
  • Lecturer: Responsible for delivering lectures, conducting practicals, and assisting with student assessments and academic advising.
  • Demonstrator/Lab. Engr.: This position focuses on conducting laboratory sessions, assisting students with practical work, and maintaining lab equipment.
  • Management & Administrative Roles: Positions like Deputy Registrar, Assistant Registrar, Assistant Director, and Accountant will be responsible for the smooth functioning of the university’s administrative and financial departments, ensuring compliance with institutional policies.
  • Lab Attendant: This role is crucial for the daily operation of our labs, including preparing equipment, assisting with experiments, and ensuring a safe and clean working environment.

Eligibility Criteria & Requirements

  • Associate Professor: Ph.D. in a relevant field (Cyber-Security, Data Science, etc.) from an HEC-recognized university, with relevant teaching, experience, and publications.
  • Assistant Professor: Ph.D. or M.Phil. in a relevant field, with relevant experience and publications.
  • Lecturer: Master’s degree (First Class) in a relevant field with no third division in the academic career.
  • Demonstrator/Lab. Engr.: Master’s degree (16 years of education) in Computer Science/Information Technology with relevant experience.
  • Deputy Registrar & Assistant Registrar: Master’s degree (16 years education) with relevant experience in a university/government/autonomous body.
  • Accountant & Office Assistant: Master’s degree (16 years education) in Finance/Accounting/Commerce with relevant experience.
  • Lab Attendant: Matriculation with at least 2nd division.

General Requirements:

  • All positions require a strong academic background and relevant experience as specified for each role.
  • The university reserves the right to increase, decrease, or not fill any position.
  • Candidates must pay a non-refundable application fee for each position applied for (fees vary by position, from Rs. 2,500 to Rs. 500).
