The University of Balochistan, Quetta (a public sector university established in 1970), invites applications from competent and dynamic candidates for the statutory post of Treasurer (BPS-20). The role is offered under the terms outlined in the Balochistan Universities Act 2022.

Position Details

Job Title: Treasurer
Scale: BPS-20
Upper Age Limit: 55 Years
Nature of Appointment: Tenured Position for 4 Years
Note: This position is non-renewable as per Balochistan Universities Act 2022.

Eligibility Criteria

Required Qualifications (Any One):

  • CA or ACCA with 7 years of professional experience in renowned organizations/institutions.
    OR
  • MBA (Finance), M.Com, or equivalent qualification from HEC-recognized universities/institutions with 15 years of post-qualification professional experience in the relevant field (BPS-17 or equivalent) in reputed organizations/institutions.

Domicile Requirement:
Applicants from across Pakistan may apply. However, preference will be given to candidates domiciled in Balochistan.

Application Requirements

  1. Complete applications with required documents/credentials must be submitted in-person or via post to the Establishment Section of the university.
  2. Last Date to Apply: 15th September 2025
  3. Application Processing Fee: Rs. 3500/- (Non-Refundable)
    To be submitted via bank challan or draft in favor of the Treasurer, University of Balochistan.
  4. Challan can be deposited in HBL, University Branch, Quetta.
  5. Applicants already in service must apply through the proper channel along with NOC from their department.
  6. Incomplete or late applications, or those missing the processing fee, will not be entertained.
  7. Selection Board for eligible candidates will be held at University of Balochistan.
    No TA/DA will be provided.
