The Ministry of Law and Justice is seeking applications from qualified professionals for the following position on a contract basis. The initial contract duration is three (03) years, extendable as per MP Scale Policy, 2020.

Position: Legislative Advisor (MP-II Pay Package)

  • No. of Posts: 01
  • Age Limit: 62 years

Minimum Qualification & Experience Required:

  • Foreign or local LL.M or Barrister-at-Law or Solicitor with at least seven (07) years of legal experience in Pakistan or abroad, in the public or private sector.

Professional Credentials:

  • Demonstrated experience in drafting or reviewing Conventions, Agreements, MOUs, Contracts, and other legal documents.
  • Preferably well-versed in international law, legal opinions on policy and regulatory matters, and legislative drafting.

Short-listing Criteria:

  • Preference will be given to candidates with public sector experience, followed by those with backgrounds in state-run corporations and private organizations of repute.

Commitment to professionalism, discipline, integrity, and the ability to work on both national and international legal matters is essential.
