Available Positions

MERC-1122 is conducting walk-in interviews for the following positions on a contract basis. All appointments are initially for a period of one (01) year, which may be extended based on satisfactory performance.

  1. General Surgeon
    • No. of Posts and District: 2 posts in Accident & Emergency Center Khuzdar, 2 posts in Accident & Emergency Center Zhob.
    • Qualification/Experience: MBBS or equivalent Medical Qualification recognized by PMDC with FCPS/MS/FRCS/MRCS or any other equivalent Medical Qualification recognized by PMDC with 3 years of practical experience in the respective specialty in a recognized institution after post-graduation.
  2. Orthopedic Surgeon
    • No. of Posts and District: 2 posts in Accident & Emergency Center Khuzdar, 2 posts in Accident & Emergency Center Zhob.
    • Qualification/Experience: MBBS or equivalent Medical Qualification recognized by PMDC with FCPS/MS/FRCS/MRCS or any other equivalent Medical Qualification recognized by PMDC with 3 years of practical experience in the respective specialty in a recognized institution after post-graduation.
  3. Medical Officer
    • No. of Posts and District: 4 posts in Accident & Emergency Center Khuzdar, 4 posts in Accident & Emergency Center Zhob.
    • Qualification/Experience: MBBS or equivalent Medical Qualification recognized by PMDC. Minimum 1 year of experience.
  4. Lab Technologist
    • No. of Posts and District: 1 post in Accident & Emergency Center Khuzdar, 1 post in Accident & Emergency Center Zhob.
    • Qualification/Experience: Graduation in Laboratory Technology from any recognized institute or Diploma in Laboratory Technician from any recognized institute with at least 3-4 years of experience in the relevant specialty. Preference will be given to candidates who are proficient in handling lab machines.

Qualified and interested candidates should appear for a walk-in interview on August 18, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Interview Location: Head Office Medical Emergency Response Centers (MERC) 1122 Balochistan, House No: 64/227, Jinnah Town, Adjacent to Pak-Turk School, Quetta.

Eligible and interested candidates should appear along with two sets of their attested copies of all relevant credentials, which include:

  • Education certificates
  • Professional experience certificates
  • Local/domicile certificate
  • CNIC
  • Three passport-size pictures
  • Updated CV

  • All positions will be filled purely on a contract basis.
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview.
  • MERC Balochistan reserves the right to withdraw or postpone and increase or reduce the number of vacant positions mentioned in the advertisement.
